Erin Cooper, M.L.S.
Assistant Director of Government Relations
Erin Cooper is the Assistant Director of Government Relations in the Office of External Relations for the University of 91߹System. In her role, she advances the University's policy priorities by collaborating with state and federal relations officers across all four campuses and the NU institutes. She works to build and strengthen relationships with state legislators, the governor's office, policymakers, community leaders, campus colleagues, and University supporters.
Erin supports the development and execution of the University system's legislative and policy agenda through policy research, advocacy strategy, legislative coordination, and stakeholder engagement. She has led key initiatives including coordinating the annual I Love NU Day at the 91߹State Capitol to strengthen advocacy and engagement across the University of 91߹System.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a Master of Legal Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
